Indoor shows postponed

The BARn closing, ending residency

The COVID-19 pandemic won't let up. Travis County is at Stage 5 again.  The BARn on Brodie Lane is closing Sept. 30. Coronavirus infections and hospitalizations are at an all-time high. People are reluctant to see shows. Therefore Brother E Train will not play anymore indoor shows until Travis County COVID risk guidelines return to Stage 3. Please be safe and get vaccinated.

FogHAAM benefit canceled

COVID surge to blame

Due to the high number of COVID cases, hospitalizations and deaths in Austin, I had no choice but to cancel the FogHAAM benefit that was scheduled for Sunday at One2One Bar at 6pm. It would be completely reckless and irresponsible of me to continue to move forward with this super-spreader event in an indoor setting. Thanks to everyone who put their time and effort into it, especially Fred Schultz for the awesome poster and the artists who worked up songs for it. Thanks to Gregg and everyone at One2One for agreeing to be a venue. Thanks to HAAM for their encouragement and service to our community. Again I’m sorry but it’s out of my hands. Maybe some time next year we’ll try to do it again...

Brother E Train in the studio

We're back in the friendly confines of our good friend Jason Richard's Clockright Studio Austin for our debut recording session. Sessions are going well and we plan to have a single to release in the coming weeks.

Brother E Train in the studio

We're back in the friendly confines of Clockright Studio and our good friend Jason Richard for a pair of Brother E Train songs. We aim to release them as digtal singles and on vinyl thru Right On! Records.  Check back for progress and release info.

What if Quentin Tarentino wrote Margaritaville? Would it be swampy like this?
